experience the difference
When we use the term 'heirloom portraits' - we mean portraits that will be passed down for generations. One your great-grandchildren will look at and display with pride in their homes. Those types of portraits don't happen by accident. They come with experience. Trust us, we know the moments we capture are precious and special. Ones that can NEVER again be duplicated. There are no 're-do's' when it comes to these life events and the one thing you won't want to do, is wish you had a less-experienced photographer to capture it. We know our print will be on your walls for decades to come - and the perfect portrait of the perfect moment is priceless.
What does the process look like?
First, we set up a day and time for the Senior and parents to meet with me. During that time, we discuss what expectations you may have for the shoot, what extra-curricular activities we may want to spotlight in the shoot (sports, cheer, dance, etc), any special locations (city, park, nature). I'll ask a bunch of questions to get to know your Senior and to gain a comfort level with them. Once we answer all of those questions, we begin to book dates in the calendar. Multiple dates may be needed for multiple locations and/or outfit changes, etc. Payment for the sitting fee would be due at the time of booking and the balance would be paid at the time of order.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm located in Clinton Township, Michigan and I do travel, however, any travel outside of 30 miles would require an additional fee.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your un-retouched photos within 1 week of the final shoot. From there you will choose 15-30 of your favorite photos to have re-touched and color graded. Final delivery will take between 4-8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season and your package choices).
When should we start scheduling?
Summer and Fall are the perfect times for photo shoots - The green on the trees, and the golden sun make for the most appealing portraits.
